All statements below are based on documented emails, invoices, and WhatsApp messages that I’ve retained for verification and to protect myself legally following threats from NCR Lawyers.
1. My bank payment — My bank payment was accepted by Nemanja of NCR Lawyers but later described as “illegal” by him. The funds he deemed “illegal” were never returned to me and I was repeatedly pressured to pay an inaccurate invoice, disregarding what had already been sent. Nemanja sent me several threats of a lawsuit even after I agreed to pay for an accurate invoice.
The payment Nemanja deemed “illegal” was made through Bank of America, one of the most reputable and globally recognized financial institutions, which confirms the legitimacy of the transaction.
2. Business setup — The company NCR Lawyers registered for me was unusable for my intended retreat business. I later had to hire a new lawyer and pay €660 in taxes on an incorrectly structured business that is now frozen.
3. Temporary residence application — Errors and negligent advice regarding white-card registration affected my ability to proceed lawfully in Serbia.
4. Invoices — Contained mismatched dates, were backdated, and the digital signature did not match the stated issuance date.
5. Communication & billing clarity — The deliverables were disappointing, and follow-up responses were always defensive rather than professional.
I am a native English speaker with a basic understanding of international law and I relied in good faith on NCR Lawyers’ professionalism. Ironically, I chose this company because of the positive Google reviews. Relying on that trust proved to be a mistake.
Foreign clients should proceed with caution, insist on written communication, and confirm all terms in advance. I have documented evidence of all interactions should verification ever be required.
